Our eyewear is manufactured using the highest quality materials.
The frames are crafted from Italian designed Mazzuchelli cellulose acetate, ensuring we keep the highest standards in pattern design. Cellulose acetate is tough yet malleable, ensuring each pair of glasses will endure the elements while keeping its shape and finish.
The hinges and internals of each piece of eyewear must be of the utmost quality to ensure their longevity. Our hinges are sourced from two sources - Italian manufacturer Vissottica or German manufacturer Comotec, sources known throughout the industry for their precision and quality.
Of course every piece of eyewear must provide optimal optical quality. Taking no shortcuts, our lenses are sourced from premium German optics manufacturer, Carl Zeiss Vision. Our lenses undergo arduous testing by our lens supplier, Carl Zeiss Vision (who have 160 experience in optics manufacturing), before they are supplied to us for our frames. All our lenses are coated with multi-layer anti-reflective coating to reduce internal glare and are hard-coated to prevent scratching. Our lenses are made from CR-39, a plastic polymer which is lightweight, shatter proof and durable.
All our lenses are category 3 filter, offer full UV protection and comply with the following international standards (which makes them suitable for driving):
- EN 1836:2005 + A1:2007 and ISO 12312-1:2013
- AS/NZS 1067-2003 Amdt 1-2009
- ANSI Z80.3-2010
Our frames are cut, shaped and assembled in a state of the art facility next to other premium brands. The material is cut from single acetate sheets, allowing the frames to maintain a uniform colour finish while holding their own unique pattern. The frames go through a multi-step process where the frames are polished and assembled by hand, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship and finish is maintained in every frame.
